DISABILITY BENEFITS, 101 - A WORKSHOP

As the name implies, this workshop offers an overview of state and federal disability-related benefits, i.e. Social Security Administration, Medicare, Medicaid.  This workshop is most appropriate for adults new to disability or parents of a child new to disability.

The goal of Disability Benefits, 101 is to increase the knowledge of workshop participants about the relationship between state and federal disability related benefits. Through a 45 minute presentation, this workshop will establish a basic understanding of state and federal programs, including Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicare, and Medicaid.  A question and answer period follows the presentation.
